Meditation Centers

There are over 1000 Kadampa Buddhist Centers and groups in 40 countries, each with qualified teachers and a full program of introductory classes, structured study programs and meditation retreats. The Centers vary in size from major temples to local branches.

Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre

The first NKT Center in the west was Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre, located in Ulverston, England. Manjushri is the home of our Spiritual Guide, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Spring and Summer Festivals are held at Manjushri, which typically welcome almost 3,000 practitioners from all around the world.

Visiting a Kadampa Center for the first time is easy because all Centers have drop-in classes and day workshops for beginners.
