 Kadam Nick Gillespie

Kadam Nick is a senior meditation teacher in the New Kadampa Tradition. He was the first Kadampa Teacher to come to Florida, and he established the first three Kadampa Centers here: Parbawatiya Center in Tampa Bay, KMC Florida in Sarasota, & Drolma Center in Fort Lauderdale. He is currently Resident Teacher of Drolma Buddhist Center in Fort Lauderdale. 'Kadam' means 'Teacher'.

Kadam Nick has been studying and practicing Buddhist meditation for over 24 years under the guidance of his Spiritual Guide, Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

Before being invited in 1996 to set up the Florida meditation Centers, Kadam Nick worked closely with Ven. Geshe Kelsang in establishing and directing Geshe-la's first Center in the West, Madhyamaka Centre, now one of the largest Buddhist colleges in Europe. He was also Resident Teacher of Atisha Buddhist Centre in Darlington.

Kadam Nick is a dearly loved teacher, renowned for his practical and humorous presentation of Buddha's teachings.
